What's the best time of year for an outdoor proposal in Bali?

What if I have chosen my own venue — do you still handle the permits?
If you've secured your own venue independently, permits, approvals, and any venue-specific liability terms are your responsibility, since you hold the direct relationship with the property. We're happy to advise where we can, but the venue's specific requirements need to be confirmed and secured on your end.
Do you include photography and videography with the proposal?

Capture is one of the most tightly choreographed parts of the operation, so we keep it exclusively within our own team. Every photographer and videographer on-site is briefed on the cover story, the exact timing of the reveal, and how to stay completely out of her sight until the moment happens — the same standard we hold the rest of the crew to. Bringing in an outside photographer means introducing someone who isn't operating under that same zero-margin discipline, which is a risk we're not willing to take with your one moment. It's the same reason capture comes included as standard, not sold separately.
Can we use our proposal photos and videos however we'd like?
Yes, for personal use — sharing with family, printing, social media, and so on. Proposalenvy retains copyright and may use the same photos and videos for our own portfolio and marketing. Commercial use beyond personal purposes would require a separate licensing agreement.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend a minimum of 60 days before your travel date. Booking early gives you a much stronger chance of securing your preferred date — especially during Bali's high season, when the best venues fill up fastest. This also gives us the time needed to properly build your cover story, secure the right venue, and coordinate every vendor without rushing a single detail.
What payment methods do you accept?
Our primary payment method is bank transfer through Wise, giving you a secure, transparent payment gateway built for international transfers. Alternatively, you're welcome to pay through your own bank, provided it offers an international transfer service. Every payment is handled with the same security and precision we bring to every other part of your proposal.
Do you accept credit card payments?
Our primary payment method is bank transfer through the Wise app. Credit and debit card payment is also available, exclusively through Wise (available in select regions only). When you initiate your transfer, Wise gives you the option to fund it using a card instead of a bank account. If the card option doesn't appear in your Wise account, that means your region isn't supported.
How do I confirm my payment?
After sending your transfer, send us confirmation on your end — if you paid through Wise, the transfer link or confirmation email works perfectly; if you paid through your own bank, a confirmation letter or screenshot is fine. This lets us start verifying the transfer right away.
What happens after you receive the deposit or full payment?
Preparation begins immediately: securing your venue, building out your cover story plan, mapping the full timeline, and finalizing your complete rundown as the day approaches. You'll have everything you need well ahead of your Bali proposal, so nothing is left to figure out once it's time.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
We understand that life can throw curveballs. While we do not offer cancellations or refunds, our rescheduling policy is built for exactly this — protecting your date and your investment, so an unexpected change becomes a new date, not a lost one. The specific terms are outlined in your booking agreement.
